Amy Smart has been a actor, model and a former American. Amy Smart was born and raised California USA began her modelling in Italy. The beginning of her acting career came in 1996, when she was a character in the TV film Her Costly Affair. She struggled to get the role she wanted on Starship Troopers. It was a difficult transition for Amy as she had to move from modelling into acting. Models aren't regarded as the best actors and so tend to be given smaller roles that aren't very important.
