Lucy-Liu

Lucy Liu, an American voice actor, producer and singer, is also an actress. She's a beautiful, skilled actress that has inspired numerous Asian actors to make it in Hollywood. Following a string of appearances in popular TV shows her name was a household name when she was featured in The Ally McBeal legal comedy where she was Ling Woo. Her new-found fame was translated into roles for the big screen, in Shanghai Noon, Charlie's Angels as well as other movies. She then delivered an outstanding performance as Japanese criminal O'Ren Ishii as part of Quentin Tarantino's Kill Bill Volume 1. In addition, she played lead roles in films that failed at the box office, such as Rise: Blood Hunter. She then began to voice characters from animated films such as Kung Fu Panda or Tinker Bell. Mia Mason's character as a character in Cashmere Mafia, a small screen movie, did not produce positive results. Southland is a critically-acclaimed series of police dramas which included Liu in regular role, allowed her to re-establish her own identity. Liu is careful when choosing roles in order to avoid being disregarded in the industry which is extremely competitive. Liu has embraced her Chinese heritage, but she hasn't let it restrict her creativity.
