She was a reporter from the stands of the College World Series and Women's Tennis Association's championships. Flanagan worked as also a SportsCenter reporter that covered games for the Lakers Dodgers Angels UCLA USC, and Chargers. She also reported on spring training as well as the NBA Playoffs College Football Bowl and the NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament. She also was a regular contributor for the NFL Monday Night Countdown.
